Last year, Assemblymember Ash Kalra successfully co-hosted the first ever 2018 San José Veggie Fest. Over 2,000 participants from around the Bay Area attended the festival to learn about environmental sustainability and healthy eating. This year Veggie Fest is back and will be hosted at Martial Cottle Park, on Saturday, August 10, 2019, from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Veggie Fest is a fresh spin on the festival experience where community members can enjoy live multicultural performances, shop, play games, meet new people, learn more about state and local resources, and eat amazing vegan food, all while having fun in the sun at one of Santa Clara County’s newest park!
