I am proud to join Senator Bob Wieckowski to co-host a Halloween Safety Resource Fair with him, the Santa Clara Police Department, and Supervisor Ken Yeager. 

We will have available brochures and other materials on safety tips for parents and children for the Halloween holiday. Members of my district staff will also be on hand to answer constituent questions and listen to concerns you may have.

Assemblymember Kansen Chu, Chair of the Select Committee on Hate Crimes and Assemblymember Al Muratsuchi, Chair of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee are hosting a joint oversight hearing to evaluate hate crimes in California and to review the findings in the recent California State Audit on Hate Crimes on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 9:30am-12pm at the California State Capitol, Room 4202.
 
The joint oversight hearing will serve as a platform for dialogue between elected officials, the Attorney General’s office, community-based organizations, and the public regarding the report findings, how communities are affected by hate crimes, and how we can collaborate on solutions.
